З 19 до 22 серпня 2010 року в Одеській області у с. Лебедівка відбувся молодіжний табір “Студентське самоврядування та реформа освіти в контексті міжкультурного діалогу”. Участі у таборі
брали представники органів студентського самоврядування (ОСС) та іноземні студенти, які навчаються в Україні. Метою табору був розвиток толерантного ставлення у студентському середовищі, сприяння міжкультурному діалогу, розробка спільної стратегії для активної інтеграції міжнародного досвіду у розвиток українського студентського самоврядування та реформи української
освіти.
Організаторами заходу виступили: Всеукраїнська молодіжна громадська організація “Українська студентська спілка”, Кіровоградська обласна молодіжна громадська організація “Фундація Регіональних Ініціатив” та проект “Студентське посольство”.
Даний захід став можливим завдяки підтримці Фонду сприяння демократії Посольства США в Україні, Міністерства України у справах сім’ї, молоді та спорту та Британської Ради в Україні.

Популярність студентських програм літньої роботи за кордоном останнім часом зростає, частішають, однак, і нарікання учасників на агенції, які ці програми організовують. Наприклад, виявляється, що обіцяної вакансії немає, тож українським студентам доводиться шукати роботу власноруч.
Студентки Анна і Ольга поїхали до Сполучених Штатів минулого місяця нібито за програмою Work&Travel. Документи на подорож їм готувала українська фірма-посередник. Отримавши візу в американському посольстві, дівчата мали намір покращити свою англійську та підзаробити.

Western experts traveling to Ukraine would do well to heed the following rules if detained by the authorities:
- Do not sign any Ukrainian document.
- Do not let them have your passport or other form of identification.
- Call your embassy or consulate immediately. Ensure you have names, mobile telephones and emails of embassy personnel with you.

Project “Students Embassy” is planning to publish leaflet for you “Living and studing in Ukraine” which will help you to enjoy your study in our country.

According to Ukrainian legislation, universities and other higher educational establishments from now on may choose the language for teaching foreign students. This was announced by Dmytro Tabachnyk, current Minister of Education of Ukraine, during the Ministry of Education’s session in Kharkiv,on April 22, 2010. Read more in Ukrainian here

2-day workshop Intercultural Encounters «Working effectively with international students” – April 22 – 23, 2010 in Kyiv.

Congress of national communities of Ukraine invites you to the activity during the Festival of Documentaries about Human rights
Quest „Immigration and emigration in Kyiv”
The quest is aimed to show that the city can be created not only by those, who were born here, but also by newcomers.
We invite children and youth 13-22 year old: kyivans and those, who recently came to Kyiv
Participants of the interactive city game will explore stories of persons, who contributed to the city life but left county and those who were not born here, but significantly contributed to the creation of the image of our city. Participants will move in the center of Kyiv searching for certain addresses and memorials that they will find in the task. The winner will be the team that will fulfill all tasks and will be the quickest reaching the final point. The teams will consist of 6-8 persons, the volunteers of the CNMU will escort teams.
Participants will learn a lot about Kyiv and about people who loved our city and developed it.
Registration of teams: March 27, House of Cinema, lobby (Saksaganskogo 6). 12.00 – 12.15.
Game: 12.20 – 15.00. Language of the game: Russian, Ukrainian, English
